Drape Sweater: Asos, Leather Skirt: ASTR(via Nordstrom), Necklace, Lace Shirt and Geo Skirt: J.Crew Factory, Black Dress and Embellished Sweater: Dorothy Perkins, Gold Tweed Sweater: Anthropology, Heels and Booties: GoJane
I know this list is lengthy, but how can I help it when there is so many cute things are out there! Actually I had to shorten the list by only a ton! But here it is, some of my Fall Items I am absolutely dying over. I would have included the shoes the model in the leather skirt is wearing, although I could not find them anywhere. If anyone knows where to find them LET ME KNOW! They are absolutely gorgeous! They are totally the style for fall, a little mid-century but strong and modern at the same time. I love them!
Something to remember as you head into your fall and winter wardrobe is to bling it up! Metallics are hot, if that be on your shoes (like these awesome pumps and booties from GoJane) or in your sweaters (like the drape sweater from Asos and the Tweed Jacket from Anthro) it does not matter, just remember "bling it up"! This can also be done with your accessories and embellished clothing like this Dorothy Perking Sweater. I first found this sweater on Penny Pincher Fashion Blog. The last thing is to add texture like leather and lace. Also the allusion of texture like this Geometric Skirt from J.Crew Factory, I LOVE!

Get to The Maxx!!
Shirt: TJ Maxx, Pants and Earrings: Target Shoes: Steve Madden (via TJ Maxx) Necklace: Francesca's
I just want to share a little shopping 101 with you right quick. For me this tip is so basic (and for some of you as well) but before you go to any major department store or high end clothing store, go to a T.J Maxx or Marshalls. I am always pleased to the extreme that they have the latest styles and fashions and that they are at a discounted price. SO window shop at other stores then go to TJ or Marshalls first and see if they have a similar item. If not they have something else for your closet! Happy shopping!

Fall Transitions
Jacket: Kohls, Necklace and Blouse: TJ Maxx, Earirngs, Jeans and Booties: Target
Although it's been fall for a while now, it hasn't been till this week that it actually started to feel like fall. We hit low 50's this week. Granted it went back up to the 80's mid way through, still the brisk weather has been refreshing.
And with this brisk weather I have been taking full advantage of layering my life away! In this look I used my spring/summer pieces and transitioned them to a fall look by layering with my olive, army jacket. Side bar: these suede booties are my favorite! I would wear them every day if I wasn't sure that someone would notice.
I like making sure that I add color to my fall looks, because it seems as soon as the Fall season comes everyones wardrobe become monochromatic, and not in the best way. Anyways Thanks for reading along!

Getting Back into MY Groove
Sweater: Charming Charlie, Blouse: Target, Necklace: Forever 21, Earrings: Target
Hello, again!!!! I know it's been forever since my last post, but Im back and I am here to say, it's for good this time! After a summer of stressful moments and changing our lives around, a whole lot, We finally had a chance to take outfit pictures. Which, I know it seems like, OMG just whip out your camera and take a few pictures. But like everything else, there is a little more to it than that. Some days My sweet husband would get home and just want to relax and somedays I really just wanted to slunk off into the bedroom wearing sweats and sleeping for the rest of my life. Ha but like I said we are back in the groove of it!
So funny story, right after we took these pictures, my right eye puffed up like a balloon. Ok, not really that big, but to me it seemed that way. I could not figure out what the heck was going on. Luckily I have an amazing support system (i.e. my sister, mommy dearest and sweet mother-in-law) That gave me all sorts advise and tips of things to try and within a day it was back to normal. Ha ha I have some pictures, which make me laugh, I should post just so you can see how bad it was.
Anyways hope life is dandy for you. It sure is for me!

A Little Rusty
Still on our house hunt, and like I said before it takes every last minute of our time. I noticed, as we were taking pictures, that The Hubs and I are both pretty rusty at this picture taking business. That and the fact that it was 800 degrees last night (not literally, but I seriously have never felt so hot in my life!) made it a little difficult to take pictures. But we did and I have to say My sweet Hubs is the best sport. He is so good to me I just love him to pieces!
Ok so about this outfit. I found this GORGEOUS skirt at Ann Taylor like 3 weeks back on the sale rack. But it just so happened that it was an extra 40% off of sale price so I got it for an even better deal! It's so pretty, very bridal, which makes it kind of difficult to wear because I feel like I am super over dressed. But I guess you can never been super over dressed, right?! However to help play the skirt down a bit, and help it look like everyday wear, I paired it with my plaid shirt that I tied in front. Still dressy but at lest I felt like I could walk out my front door with out feeling like I was supposed to be attending a formal. Ha ha

Long Time No See
Earrings & Shirt: Francesca's, Skirt & Purse: Old Navy, Necklace Forever 21
So I have to start off by saying it has been a LONG time! I think over a week that I have posted a blog post. When I started my blog I swore that I would never go longer than a day or two-not that my blog is extremely important to all of you, but it is to me. Ha ha. But obviously that one to two day time frame was a little ambitious. Or maybe I need to be more organized. Ha but there are so many variables you, or I rather, can not control. So here is the real reason I haven't posted in a while- And I have hesitated in saying anything just because I feel like if I do mention what's going on it won't happen-again this is just my way of controlling a situation that really can't be controlled. Don't alarm yourself everything is fine and everyone's health is just fine. The Hubs and I are just looking for our first home! It's been so very exciting but it literally takes up every little free second we have. If we aren't looking at homes we are searching new homes that came on the market. And then comes the stress of it all. My honey wants one thing and I want something completely different. It's almost comical how different our opinions can be on certain things. For example we looked at a house last week that I loved! Everything about it was adorable. It was a little country home with so much charm and great upgrades. I thought The Hubs and I were on the same page, and then we went home to talk about it and he HATED the whole thing. ha ha Like I said, comical right? But we will find the right one, I know it! It just depends on when HA HA! So that is my life right now. It's been fun, but just know if I am not posting it's because I'm stressing. Ha It does feel good to get a blog post up and get this off my chest. Now I don't feel like I have a secret and I can share my life's experiences with people who care. ha Thanks for caring! And reading!

Golden
My Husband is dang good looking!
Sweater: Old Navy, Skirt, TJ Maxx, Shoes: TJ Maxx, Purse and Earrings: Langford Market
It finally stopped raining but now it's just plain hot and humid. I feel like I just got out of the shower every time I step outside and it's not a pleasant feeling. And because I have been constantly sweating I have had this amazing thought, a wish really-to be cool. So I have decided I am going to cut my hair. My husband hates the idea, mostly because he thinks I will hate it after a while, but the desire to blow my hair dry with out breaking a sweat is very enticing. So the decision has been made! My hair is going to get cut and thats all there is about it! But long hair I will sure miss you. Good thing hair grows back right?
